BLH's Nurturing
Rhythm

‘Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life’

This statement by Pablo Picasso, sums up our approach to after school experience for children.

At BLH, after the structured school time, children are first, free to play. We create a sensory environment with our daily & weekly rhythm. Children are “invited” and are drawn to these experiences. Experiences such as art, cooking, movement & music are there to enrich our lives and are best absorbed by little children when brought naturally in their environment.

These rhythm experiences are not mandatory structured classes. These experiences are timed as per the seasons in nature.

Designed to horne, enhance, encourage their creativity, our art facilitators ensure that every child feels like an artist. They create a non-judgemental space free of competition and performance pressure for the children to express freely.

As an after school class experience, they are meant to be a release, a breathing out, a digestion of the day’s sensory experiences.

The facilitators themselves are masters in their craft, still putting hours of riyaaz in honing their skills.

We do not undermine the importance of skills, but they must follow the soul’s expression.
